October 20, 2025: The Mansfield Downtown Partnership and the Town of Mansfield will host free, Halloween fun at the Downtown Boo Bash! in Downtown Storrs on Saturday, October 25 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The Downtown Boo Bash will feature:
Trick-or-Treating at participating Downtown Storrs businesses (3-5:00 PM)
Trick-a-Trunk on Wilbur Cross Way hosted by Mansfield Parks & Recreation (3-5:00 PM)
Halloween activities hosted by Mansfield Parks & Recreation (3-5:00 PM)
Performances by E. O. Smith Drumline (3:00 PM) and Mansfield Academy of Dance (3:15 PM)
Seasonal Storytime with Mansfield Public Library (3:30 PM)
New this year, attendees are invited to join in themed, group photos on Betsy Paterson Square. Gather under the Jeffrey P. Ossen Family Foundation Pavilion for a photo op with fellow trick-or-treaters wearing similar costumes and receive an instant-print black and white copy of the picture to take home. If you’d like a digital, full-color copy of the photo, signups for email distribution will also be available at the event.

3:45 PM: Animals & Creatures – then – First Responders – then – Fairytale Costumes
4:00 PM: KPop Demon Hunters – then – Wicked/ Wizard of Oz – then – Wednesday/Addams Family
4:15 PM: Science Fiction – then – Superheroes & Supervillains – then – Scary Costumes
4:30 PM: All Costumes!
The Downtown Boo Bash is free and open to everyone. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Downtown Boo Bash will take place rain or shine.
